Spirits Tasting

Spirits TastingI went for Single Malt Tasting and left with a strong caraway Vodka after taste lingering in my palate and mind.  It was always the small surprises in life that made the day.

It reminded me WSET stands for Wine & Spirits, and I almost forgot the Spirit part of the course.

Vodka is strongly associated with Russia, but according to the presenter the 18th century formula is kept in France with a small distillery following the tradition.

Vodka Bar

Walking into a -20C Vodka Bar to enjoy a shot of Vodka reminded me of the chilly winters in the East Coast and the good old days when I always ordered mixed Spirits – Gin Tonic, Rum and coke, Vodka & lime….

The restaurant had a very cozy ambience with a Russian flair.  A good place to go after work to enjoy some wines and also a shot of Vodka. (more…)
