Known amongst my wine loving friends as Madam, a name given by the instructor from the Wine Appreciation course I took. Somehow he thought I was a police officer which was also known as madam in Hong Kong due to my fierce attitude. I liked the authoritarian name, and so it stuck ever since! I have enjoyed the fermented grape juice for over twenty years now, and the Wine Appreciation course only fueled my desire and I started my journey in understanding wines, starting with this blog. It is a path of no return but with no regrets!
